CAMEL STUDIO
The Camel Studio was a touring experience with stops at EDM and rock festivals across the US. Created to support Camel's Open Canvas program, the experience explored the idea of a visitor's signature becoming a unique work of art.
After signing their name on a LED touchscreen, visitors could then modify their mark with their choice of 4 visual styles, each further customizable with color and 3D extrusion options.
Each visual style imposed on a signature also included a musical loop that was made unique according to where the marks fell on the screen "map".
Once a visitor was satisfied with their mark, it was printed on a t-shirt to take with them. They could also paste up their signature into a large framed area, creating a collage that grew throughout the course of the festival.
